LOGIE
Dont think this qualifies as a TECHNICAL query..but how easy is it to change both front and rear crank seals on a TT lump? Is it worth doing on an engine thats done 62,000 miles before i put it in my car? cheerz

The front seal worth doing seen as the cambelt is due at 60k if not done done already. Rear seal worth doing as the engine is out so should be easier task. Dnk
Both mine are original and done 136k with no leaks but i guess if the engines out then it makes sense to change them
listy
Front is easy enough. As the engine is out anyway. Crank pulley off, then gently screw a screw into it (not too far) and pull the seal out.
