FinSupra Posted February 21, 2013 Share Posted February 21, 2013 Hey. Decided to drop a quick one here to get some exact assist. My MK4 N/A manual -95 Supra has suddenly started to shake heavily. Shaking is there when car idles and when I give it a rev and when more revs are added the heavier is the shaking. Shaking does not stop and doesn`t matter do I rev it stationary or while driving. Ian C Posted February 21, 2013 Share Posted February 21, 2013 Either you're running on 5 cylinders, which isn't likely if the engine is smooth as you say, or you've got an imbalance in the drivetrain like a flywheel bolt has sheared or something. Put a tipex line across the face to see if its on its way out. I'd have thought engine mount or possibly gearbox mount. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Go round the dizzy cap taking off 1 lead at a time and see what difference it makes to how the engine runs, put the lead back on and go to the next one and so on.
