ManwithSupra
Hi All, As some of you know my engine is quite a bit further back than a standard supra My question is simple... Do you reckon a Greddy Intake Plenum and Q45 Throttle body will be able to fit in nicely behind the Suspension turrent with room to sort the pipe work?? (excuse the tape on the fuse box that is a temporary measure).
Mugello
That is going to be extremely close ! See below. Edited February 15, 2013 by Mugello (see edit history)
Mugello
Using this image as an example... Image that engine in the above image pushed back to behind the suspension setup like yours... Going to be extremely close !
Lee P
No it won't fit with out modification, the tb will be where the turret is
chazuk
How about a intake like this
kwalker705
what about a hypertune inlet. ? They don't look to be as big as the greddy units and the TB flange also doesn't look as if its angled as much toward the turret
Lee P
Even the hypertune would be close, I think most aftermarket manifold would need to be modified. Your best bet may be to mod the stock one and fit a Q45 to that. It's been done quite a but. Titan used to sell one
Paul Whiffin
I could ask Hypertune if they would make a special inlet for you? Would need measurements somehow though.

Hmmmm it would be worth looking at for sure, although I would imagine having a custom one made would be mega bucks. There would be no harm in asking though. ManwithSupra
Bloody hell, how have you managed to get the engine so far back? Moving the engine back as far as it is involved cutting the entire firewall and floorpan out and replacing it with a semi space frame chassis - Lots of work! All credit goes to Ryan.G though as this was his car and was only in his possesion up to 18 months ago. Since then I have done some more changes/improvements but all the Major work Ryan had done. If you want to have a look at the build head over to his old build thread or click my FB link below and look in the Photo Albums section.
