rpearson
I also have a Recaro's drivers seat fitted in my beast. As the Jap guy who had the car before me was quite small (guess as seat does not go back very far) I was going to take the whole lot apart this weekend and take a look how it bolts together to see if I can get about another 2"s leg room. I shall take a few pics and post them on a web server for you. Hope this might be a help.
mrboost
Yep. That would be good. I properly (hoping) I can knock up some base frames, my great ideas at first have been slashed. Orginally I wanted to fit these seats (supra seats are pants, keep sliding out of them). So I wanted to keep the drivers side fully electronic and just swap the seats of using the same base frames. This is not possible, so i will except a manual operation seat, but I can see no way that i can actually fit the seat. I ideally would like a picture of your base frame and where it mounts. Don't mind drilling the floor, but seats are usually fitted to the chassis or a solid structure. Your help would be apprecatited. rpearson
pic 6 - front screw point. I hope these have been of some value. I am sorry they do not show much in the way of technical data and offsets. The only thing I had to hand was a tape measure. May be someone else has the exact details.
rpearson
And for those that want a laught. This is a pic of what I found under my seat when I took it out!! Some; - Jap Money, - English Money, - Wire, - Connectors, - two fags and lighter (one from Japan and one from Julian [Japanese-Direct-Imports Ltd] - A little black box - must be important?? - A serious spillage of some kind? Oh yes and a flashing light thingy that lights up when your mobile phone goes off. The things you find hay!!
Guest Martin F
Ahhh the mysterious black box that somebody else was trying to identify. I wonder what it is, considering this is the drivers side.

rpearson
I wondered the same thing when I took the seat out. It smells like candy so I guess it is a sweet drink of some kind.
