DJT88
Hi, Recently I've run into a Cruise Control actuator with cable for the Supra mkiv. I was wondering if it's possible to install it afterwards as mine didn't have CC from factory. My car is a 6-speed 95 J-spec TT. I've done some digging and found a pdf: http://www.max-boost.co.uk/max-boost/resources/SUPRA_MKIV/CRUISE_CONTROL_SYSTEM.PDF Stuff I would need (correct me if there is more/less) - CC ECU - Clutch Switch - Cruise indicator light for dash maybe (if it's not there) - Possibly some relay's. (plug & play??) - Steering wheel leaver As the rest should be there for other systems already (like parking brake switch) Question: Will the wiring be already (partly) in place for this to just plug in? ellis
Why would you want to? I had it on my old UK spec, used it once, thought meh and never used it again. If you want to go at one speed just keep your foot in the same position!
SPG
Although Ellis makes a great point , yes you can retro fit CC
DJT88
Sure Ellis has a point, but I drive over 45.000 miles a year for work in a van without cc. So when I drive a long distance in my own car I would like to have the option at least. Good to know it's possible.

DJT88
You've not learnt to use it, but that doesn't mean it's not useful. Exactly, and I have used it on my previous company car. So I know it can be comfortable. But can we keep this thread about how to retrofit the CC instead of chatting about the need for it... thanks Has anyone on here done this before? Or do you know a place on the web that describes how to do it. That would be of much help. If it's doable I might start searching for the remaining bits.
