SupraLEDrears
So the tester brings up no errors but the light stays on til the car gets warm and then it slowly fades out on high revs. It sometimes comes back on whilst I'm driving and makes me think of a loose connection somewhere as it flickers on and off in bumpy conditions. Any suggestions or fixes please? Thanks
Guigsy
Low brake or engine oil. Mine used to flick on over bumps on the motorway. Then I had a brake fluid change and it didn't come back (Determined to answer all your questions )

Digsy
Which light comes on? If its low brake fluid or engine oil you should get the main warning light plus another light telling you which it is.
SupraLEDrears
Main warning and engine fault one. It also throbs on and off as I drive
Tyson
It takes very very little brake fluid loss to make it come on, many have thought it was full put a few drops later it goes off but as far as I am aware low brake fluid doesn't bring on the EML. Digsy
Neither low oil nor low brake fluid would make the check engine light come on.
Ian C
Dimly glowing and fading lights says to me an earth fault. Time to start checking and cleaning all the earth points, of which there are many and it's fun finding them all
SupraLEDrears
Thanks guys. Car started missing again and then I realised that the dizzy cap was split in two! It needed replacing as there was quite a build up on the pins. Put a new one off and got no warning lights whatsoever. Weird but worked.
