If your buying an alternator Si I'd recommend using a company called eagle-performance (I think) off eBay. They sell 200amp alternators for about £130. I've had 1 fitted to my car for a couple of years and it works perfectly. I've got loads of electrics to run in mine and it copes without faulter. If you get 1, chuck it in the car when I do your power steering pump and I'll stick it on for you.
