Kaan W
Where else would you put it then? I dont want it to look out of place or have to remove heater vents etc to mount it.
Rob_Mitchell
Not many decent places for them! i like where Lee mounted mine as its so easy to get too and look at. i guess its each to there own on things like this

Kaan W
I'll put mine where rob has his. Only decent place imo That seems the only other place to put it as theres not alot there but it seems like its hidden behind the steering wheel a bit. hodge
Food for thought, I had a Greddy E01 boost controller in my last supra and I fitted the screen in the roof lining just behind the interior light. Looked the nuts.
Abz
Good point about the screen moving with the wheel so it wouldn't really work!! Rob has his in a good place. Other option is you customise the dash and have it fitted into the dash, so have a single din sound system and then get rid of the switches below and mount it there? Though for me it wouldn't bother me as most of my driving is in the evening, weekends, though that is form over function. Another option is to customise the passenger side compart\airbag on the dash, though again the glare could be an issue.
Rob_Mitchell
yeah but then you have to stretch over whilst driving to change settings! i didnt think i would change anything but im constantly messing around with it and blowing up gauges to bigger
Jellybean
Ideally you want to integrate the display into your touchscreen media station , Alpine unit for example It is as simple as plugging in the AV cable into the AUX . but to use the functionality of the Touchscreen you will need to link it via AI.NET; how difficult it is to program I am not sure. But I am sure a physical toggle switch to Navigate the menus would not be too bad No point re-inventing the wheel when companies like Alpine have put a lot of $$ into R&D and User experience Edited February 13, 2013 by Jellybean (see edit history)
