Calliper bolt? Squeak from front right. Pics inside

I had a similar rattle and squeak from the back left last year and looked into it. Found out the shock had leaked badly and the rod was completely loose(after taking it out) and went up and down freely, so I had no dampening and it would rattle and squeek going over any bumps. This could possibly be a start of the problem, just an idea

Could be the bearing, I've got this on the front of my car at the moment, best thing to do is jack that side, and lock the steering wheel in position then give the wheel that you think is making the squeak a wiggle, if you can move it left to right considerably you need a new bearing, you'll also probably be able to feel some vibration from the wheel at higher speed if the bearing is going.

I get no vibration at all at any speed, not even when doing 100+ on private track. Hopefully I'll have time to have a good look this afternoon.

I'll have a look at the ARB too, as that was removed when I did the oil pump etc, and I'll check everything is tight again.

Cheers for the input :)

Right, bearing seems fine. Hardly any movement at all, and I put most of my weight behind it.

Taken the wheel off, and had a look at the callipers. I need someone to explain to me how the top and bottom bolts should be sat, as they don't look right to me.

I have the squeak on my car too. Same calliper/wheel. I just took the break pads out wire brushed everything and copper greased it all. The squeak has now gone but have a steering wheel wobble at around 80~mph. I think its just an out of balance wheel though.

I did the 14mm bolts tight on mine.

I pulled the wheel around at 12+6, 9+3, top right bottom left, top left bottom right.

I've now taken the aforementioned calliper bolts out, and put them back in. Now they are tight, but the disc is still moveable. Not easily moveable, but its not over tight.

Hopefully this will sort the problem. When something is wrong, and it doesn't look right, 9 times out of 10, its going to be the problem.

If its not, then I'll have to get the car on the ramp at work, and have a check of the subframe bolts, anti roll bar etc.
