Supralee
Hello guys. Right bought 3 gauges which will be going in my a pillar gauge pod. There electrical and don't use a control box. The sensors etc I haven't got an issue with doing its wiring the 3 up to a 12v source. My questions are. 1. Can I wire the 3 together in like paralel so that they go into 1 wire to a 12v source and then all 3 to 1 wire grounded. Or is it better to wire them all seperately. Have done a few searches but can't find one about wiring all 3 together. And 2. Where would be my best 12v source from experience. I've read that either the ashtray or cig lighter is a good one. Could I use the dimmer switch instead.? And grounding it where would be the best place to ground it. Hopefully nor confused what on asking . If your still reading any help would be appreciated. Cheers. Lee
TT Paul
wiring all together should be ok but be sure the supply is able to take the extra feeds, ive got a seperate supply from battery to a small fuse box which i take feeds from when i need them but this is always live and is also fused. could use a relay with ignition as trigger and feed from battery to power gauges etc and earthing should be ok together, you'll be able to find some where behind ign key dash panel, thats what i,ve done.. run earth behind dash upto pillar pod
