BaileySupra
I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place. I'm looking into getting an NA-TT conversion i was just wondering how much it would cost to buy everything i need: engine, loom, ecu, all pumps etc? Abz
This varies depending on the price of the engine and so forth but anything between £1500 - £3000.
Guest gerryh
Do you need to up grade the fuel pump when doing a conversion
Graham1984
There is tons of information on this already, type in TT conversions or NA-T in the search bar and you will get a massive amount of threads relating to this topic.
BaileySupra
Do you need to up grade the fuel pump when doing a conversion if I'm correct, the fuel pump is the same? listy
Keron is your best bet, not sure if he has a complete conversion in at the moment though.
The Raven
Depends, I did mine myself but now im suffering a massive overfuel that i may have to pay someone to sort out. If the engine had worked out the box i got out for £1300 I think id have rather paid someone else to do it. FML
DodgyRog
£2500 was the going rate for a while, but due to the demand the prices are creeping up Best bet is to contact the traders on here Keron or Jurgen are proberbly your best bet, based on your location
welshbuddy
i have a 1jz engine for sale , 900quid? no turbos included, just bolt a single on it
LOGIE
depends if you DIY or hand it over to someone else to do it. Ive just collected ALL the parts and its expensive. Getting the right engine was the hard part, Jurgen imported mine (prices vary on his yahoo auctions site) I went for a Supra engine and not an aristo one, so no parts need to be changed, ie sump etc.
Mariusz
Keron is your best bet, not sure if he has a complete conversion in at the moment though. Will highly recommend Keron, he has done tons of quality work on my vehicle and is an awesome chap. He's that good, I drive a 6 hour round trip! Konrad
I will swap 1JZ for 1UZ in my Supra soon, so if you are interested I can do NA-TT conversion using healthy and clean 1JZ engine for 1900 pounds including installation and wiring. I'll change water pump and cambelt and Nodalmighty from this forum will do all the wiring.
Justin Bieber
Paid 2k for my engine turbos loom ecu and front mount, 500 on a clutch, couple hundred on a turbo rad and longer throttle cable.....
Fly
And then you still have a tt, this for me always seems like a lot of effort to get a stock tt, but hey each to their own I went the na-t route
Justin Bieber
And then you still have a tt, this for me always seems like a lot of effort to get a stock tt, but hey each to their own I went the na-t route Yeah but if you plan to push n/a-t further then you have to take the head off to fit a tt headgasket, or take it completely apart for tt pistons, a standard tt lump can be pushed futher without that work. Most n/a-t projects ive seen are shooting for the 350-400hp mark, with is pretty much bpu on a stock tt, i dont think n/a-t would be so popular if tt engines where more readily available, and i'd imagine a well spec'd n/a-t conversion wont be a lot cheaper than a tt conversion. But like you said, each to their own, its great to see a bit more variety on the forum
