Following on from my oil leak thread

http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?282782-Oil-Leak-help-and-pointers/page5

I fitted a whifbitz 72c thermo and replacing it with a OEM

The part number I gave Toyota was

90916-03093

The thermostat on the right was the one that came out of the car, there are differences as you can see

Also the one from toyoto has a weird rust type thing going on, the bloke just said "its defo new"

I have a gasket for the new one too.

What do you think?

Don't forget to change the outer rubber seal, I don't think they come with a new `stat. The little air bleed toggle goes to the top when fitted. Now how many people are saying, "S~@&^, I didn't realize that" ? :)

`Stat looks correct. If showing a long self time :)

Yes chris I picked up a new seal for it and fitted, I fitted it the same as the previous one looked when i removed. Added a little sealant to fix it in :)
