j_jza80
Hey guys, I recently picked up an E39 530D manual, and on the way home I noticed that my speedo isn't very accurate. By 70mph on the clock, my satnav was showing my speed at 60mph. The car has 17x8" alloys, wearing 235 45 R17 tyres. I'm thinking that if I change my tyres to 225 50 R17, it should improve the speedo discrepancy, the ride, and cruising fuel economy (marginally). Is there any reason why this wouldn't work?
