Dear Jerry

I was just wondering if someone may be able to impart some knowledge on me please?

Firstly am i right in thinking that the mk4 supra 1st and 2nd decat on the vvti tt lump is the same shape and fitment as the aristos? (whifbitz site makes me believe so)?

If so where do you vvti gents get your decats from?

I keep looking at the mk4 ones on ebay and they all seem to say they are non vvti which makes me wonder what the differerences are between them?

So 3 decat questions.

Now with regards to the hks sld I was sat thumbing through flipboard on here whilst warming the gents throne and amongst balancing an ipad on my leg and straining harder then a screaming massi warrior I saw that someone had said that the HKS SLD is fine to delimit it doesnt link in with a gearbox ecu?? supposedly meaning that as the signals are altered or blocked or whatever it does can result in a stamped throttle at high speed having the box change down to what it normally would as stock and blowing auto boxes. Now my explanation on this could be tardy as i havent eaten yet and i cant recall or find that post again.

So to summmarise on that question does the SLD put you at risk of the car changing down to second for example at high speed and going bang rather than 3rd as it should and going quicker....

I hope this makes some literacy sense.

Cheers all.

stupid 2jzgte owner.

If you want aristo based questions answered then im 100% sure you will find the answers alot faster than on a supra based forum. No disrespect to the guys here. They know there stuff but the missconception that an aristo is just a supra with extra doors could be a costly mistake. Especially regarding the mk2 version and anything related to its electronics.

Spend few minutes on club aristo using the search function and youll get both the above questions answered.
