Guest DisTraction
Hi everyone, just a quick question does anyone know if there is a difference in brake pads between the JDM and Uk spec rz? I know there is a difference in the rotors and callipers but what about the pads? I can only find one listing at my local auto store, well one for fronts and one for rears, different sizes. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance. DisTraction. [COOL][/COOL]
Paul Whiffin
Yes they are different. I have both types in stock here, Toyota and Porterfield for fast road or track use.

Is there an easy way to tell them apart?

Toyota dont seem the type to use something once only. My local auto store only lists the small brakes in their book under jza80. Edited February 8, 2013 by DisTraction Poor spelling. Guest DisTraction
Would you like the Toyota part numbers, would that help? I can source oem pads form toyota but they are significantly more expensive than aftermarket pads here, they also said their system did not list any other cars those pads fitted but if even a little composition was different then it would not list them. i will take the dimensions listed in previous link to the supply shop and try to source that way but if you do know of any off hand it would be fantastic. trouble is there was only about 6 uk spec cars sold here new so the vast majority are import, as are the parts. I thank you for your time and patience. Ok so i found some that fit they seem to be for a celica gt-four. Another option when searching i guess.
