Guest onlyme
Hi guys, I know this is my first posting, but I have a conundrum and cannot work out what to do. Here who remembers Dave Rose (oldgit)? Well, if you remember he died in a car crash some years ago, but the problem is that I and others know a little more about the incident that has been released. Dave Rose had his car tinkered with by a so called soarer specialist in Wisbech, but in doing so the mechanic decided to bypass the fuel ecu, meaning that in the crash the fuel pump wouldn't have stopped, and because of this the fire that started was given fuel to turn nasty. This isn't the only shoddy thing this mechanic has done either, but that's not for me to tell but for others. Two of us were there at the time of this happening, as in the mechanic messing under the bonnet to connect the things to keep the fuel pump alive, so it's not just one person's word against the other. Any ideas what I should do? Regards Keith

Abz
Hello Keith, Possibily addressing this sooner might have helped, although you have two witness it is still very difficult to prove. Evidence from the car, paper work etc might have helped. Thing is though in court if the mechanic says that in order to get the modification working he had to do this & the owner was aware then what do you have to stand on? It is a difficult case to put forward unless you have some evidence to support it I am afraid. Though saying that, nothing is stopping you from reporting it to the police. I am sure your conscious most likely has been taunting you, sorry for your loss

Branners
Exciting as this is no doubt going to be, I'm not sure a public forum is the place to raise this, especially when we have no idea who you are, it is your first post and it seems to be troll season on the internet. You know what you need to do, this thread isnt going to assist anybody. So Im closing it.
