spikedjack
You'd get a fresh import TT 6 facelift with circa 60k miles for that, maybe VVti if you're lucky.
Guigsy
12k would get you a single turbo 6 speed, or a very clean uk bpu , I would like in the supra classified mate and see whats about He could have my clean uk bpu for less than half that. Uk cars don't really fetch a premium. A low miles 6 speed uk car is about the same as a low miles vvti facelift car. Pay your money, make your choice. But the facelift car is newer at the end of the day

j_jza80
You'll get a mint, low mileage non VVTi 6 speed manual for that, or a higher mileage VVTi. Go for the best condition one, ideally stock with low miles. That should be a reasonably safe purchase for circa £12k. Also, be very careful with which traders you use, many car dealers would palm you off with a tarted up money pit for that money!
Chris Wilson
what would you buy for 12k? Me? I wouldn't even spend £5K on a road car, they just don't do anything for me

Chris Wilson
It only got driven to and fro Oulton, and maybe Donington when I felt brave about not putting it into the barriers, and not being able to get back home. I actually took it off cover on this year's policy renewal, as it put it up a lot and wasn't worth it for the amount of on road use it saw. Will trailer it or stick it in the truck this year. I used to have some really nice road cars when I was younger, but I saw the error of my ways, and now drive sheds I see that many MKIV's I don't want to have another myself, although the wife sometimes toys with having one. AL TT
Keep £2k in your pocket and you can have mine Very nice car you have there, I was thinking of doing a trd wide body in black myself - the only thing I would want different would be the 6 speed manual gearbox as I haven't really drove any autos! I have had this as my phone wall wallpaper for the last couple of months I will send you a pm when I have sold my other car, as just in the process selling at the mo & don't want to mess you about Where r are you in the uk?
