TuneR
Okay so i want a set of lowering springs as i like the comfort of the standard car. I dont want anything mad bar slightly stiffer and lower front than rear due to the current nose up stance. The car has OEM Tokico's*, 18's on it and only a WW front lip. I've done a bit of research and from what i can see the Eibachs were the best one. I wanted to see what else was out there so after a search i've yielded the following: Make: F/R lowering Tein: 36/42mm i dont want further lowering of the car on the rear. H&R: -1.1/1.0" not enough in the front imo Gmax: -40/40mm i dont want an equal drop Tanabe: -1.2/1.0" Eibach: -1.2/1.0" (only place i seem to be able to find them is Suprastore) So only the Tanabe and Eibach seem to be the only suitable ones. Is the general concensus still for Eibach? Also is there any place somewhere in Europe that i can get them or does it have to be the US? Dnk
The Eibachs spring rates are the nearest to o/e You could try Ibrar at Speedwells, he got me mine a few years ago so might still be able to source them for you http://www.fensport.co.uk £288 inc vat in stock There listed on Demon Tweeks http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?267488-Coilover-Spring-Rate-Register&highlight=spring+rates Edited January 30, 2013 by Dnk (see edit history)
TuneR
http://www.fensport.co.uk £288 inc vat in stock There listed on Demon Tweeks Could only see the Gmax and Tein on Demon Tweeks, Suprastore comes in cheaper than Fensport depending on delivery. Other then that the Eibach kit is better than the Tanabe having a slightly higher spring rate at its max which is what i want. Cheers dunk
Dnk
Suprastore don't have a good rep here as far as i'm aware and you'll have vat and import duty on top of any price from outside the Eu.
