skippyboyo1
Mine does the quarter in 14.3 just under 100mph. I'd expect it to be faster than that!

Guest fripon
I would think bpu is quicker than mid 12. reason am saying this.is because my previous car was a gt4 st205 modded to 313bhp at 1bar boost.and she did low to mid 12s all day long. now my supe feel a lot faster.that why i think a bpu should be a good second quicker than mid 12s. welcome back Scott:d

Toyota say a stock TT will do the 1/4 mile in 13.1 @ 109mph, but last year at the pod the fastest BPU was a 13.3, and that had plenty more power than stock - - - Updated - - - Anyone else interested in the Scott M meets Chris Bailey for the first time moment YES! letmeshowyou
There's no way will a stock TT run 13.1!
Chris Bailey
Adam Littler run a 13.9 as a stock TT
scoooby slayer
400 hp and 1750 kg id expect around 11.5 seconds with a good launch. my r32 gtr does it in 10.4 seconds 408 rwhp dynapack.

Chris Bailey
my r32 gtr does it in 10.4 seconds 408 rwhp dynapack. Really? That seems quick...
Slicknick
My TT also ran a 13.9 completely stock, considering the car is 13 years old I would say new it would be capable of being 0.8 seconds quicker?
letmeshowyou
Definitely not. The difference between 13.1 and 13.9 is gigantic!
scoooby slayer
not really i dare bet it would do a low 10 or even a 9.9 on a perfect run, high pressure single plate clutch on stock box and diffs 1st to 3rd is great she loses puff in 4th though. i can 60-100 in 5.9 seconds, so a 0-60 of 4 seconds would see 9.9 Really? That seems quick...
Justin Bieber
admittedly i got that information from wikipedia, further digging from the new zealand site suggests that the jap spec did it in 13.8 and the export spec 13.3, so who knows really, actually finding information from toyota is proving difficult

The GT4 is fairly quick in comparison to stock TT but though only at the bottom end, then it pulls away strong. I had a play with Adnan's GT4 which was running something like 350bhp and my stock'ish TT which was running 352bhp with just cats removed. From a starting start it pulled away slightly ahead, I remained on his back quarter until till about 60/70mph and then the Supra pulls away. So wouldn't have thought it would be a huge difference. What Scott mentioned with 11 seconds, sounds about right, here is a video too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k9hBIsYX1cI
Justin Bieber
page 12 of the 1997 US features Brochure on this very site quote a 13.5 for a tt and it looks like the 1993 US sales Brochure quote a Car and Driver acceleration test clocking a 13.1, its tricky to make out though, its on page
Luxluc
I did approx 6.3 seconds from 60-160 kph (38-100 mph) with a bad launch in 2nd. That was with an old setup - 626 bhp on SRR.

Guest fripon
Agree with you ABZ,my gt4 would have superior traction, but the supe will have it back without a doubt.i know gt4 ain't particularly slow.i gave a m3 e46 something to think about once.
