Guest fripon
been busy since friday to sort out the 2nd turbo.after i started to swapped the parts i got for bpu. i went for following;Whifbitz twin box exhaust Whifbitz 2.5" 1st and 2nd decat pipes[can't see the point of a 3" when you will use a RR] 48mm RR blitz sus superchip[GRIN][/GRIN](yeah that just a fuel cut defender, rather expensive one.but was on the car already) ngk BCPR7ES.(didn't need regapping, because they were 0.9mm already according to my spark plug gap gauge) new 5w40 oil and filter. still to come fuel pump(is it really necessary?) new intercooler on my list aswell. i've read so much about BPU,so my views; exhaust note has gone a bit louder, but strangely turbo sound quieter. i took advantage of the dry weather today to run her without having traction issue..i can tell you the car is something else, smoother, quicker spool.wheels want to spin even on 1st turbo.never happen before.to be honest you don't really need the second on the road, but when you do use it,it's furious.must watch that speedo, hard when you have to look at the road too.i haven't got a boost gauge yet, will come soon.but it's feel like around 1bar and 360-370bhp according to my turbo car experience.well worth the money for the gain of performance.people that are still standard should really try bpu,you won't regret it a minute. tooquicktostop
Missing a boost gauge, no AFR gauge and stock fuel pump is not a great idea, I would be worried about the car running lean on boost

ashbuster
up the boost to 1.2 then get yourself a nice boost controller with gain feature, made a good difference with mine
letmeshowyou
Agreed with what everyone has said on the pump; needs to be done. I'll be full BPU again finally next Friday; can't wait!
Dnk
Get a boost controller fitted, something like the Blitz SBCiD i think it is, then you will have a boost gauge which is built in to it and also be able to raise the boost if in fact you are below 1.2 bar. letmeshowyou
48mm shouldn't see anywhere near 1.2 IMO
Guest fripon
48mm shouldn't see anywhere near 1.2 IMO exactly, that why am using the 48mm,so that i can up the boost after with an EBC.
