Jamesy
We have been getting lots of information requests about the fantastic remaps we do on diesel engines. The SRD Remap is not just the plug and play chip - this is a properly remapped ecu getting you the very best from your car......More Horsepower, More Torque, Improved Throttle Response, Smoother Power Delivery, Safer Overtaking and Guaranteed Better Fuel Economy. We specialise in diesel performance chips, diesel remapping via OBD port and general turbo diesel tuning and we pride ourselves in doing so without spoiling any of the principle reasons for buying a turbo diesel powered vehicle in the first place. We believe that key points such as their fabulous low down tractability, their reliability and of course the all important fuel economy should never ever be compromised. Our aim when diesel remapping is to gain the perfect increased power curve and fuel economy improvements yet retain all the safety parameters originally programmed into the engine management by the manufacturer so as to protect your engine and drive train from damage. Our power gains and improved fuel economy are achieved by very careful matching of parameters such as boost pressure, fuel delivery rates & pump timing along with adjustments to maps that electronically limit torque, throttle response and top speed. All this information in your ECU calibration file is carefully optimised to our exacting standards and then programmed back into your ECU and the vehicle comprehensively tested We have done numerous diesel cars now and ALL customers have been delighted with the results. Personally over the last few months i have had my MK5 Golf GT TDi done which had staggering torque afterwards and 58mpg around town, and just recently our BMW X5 which has not only improved the power but added 23% BETTER Mpg! Results and prices will differ slightly depending on your model, engine and year but a typical price would be £320. We are happy to offer all mkiv forum members 10% off the price of their remap Once you have had this done you will never own a diesel car again that has NOT been remapped, fact *********************************************************************************************************************** Hi guys To keep this thread easy to maintain and clean i think its best to put a range of improvements across the board for SRD diesel remaps.... depending on the exact model you will be benefiting from: * 30-50 bhp increase * 60-90 nm torque increase * 10-20% improved MPG *********************************************************************************************************************** SRD http://supraracingdevelopment.co.uk/%7Esrd/site/images/customercars/Lee/002.jpg Edited October 30, 2013 by Jamesy (see edit history)
