Guest Deano hks
Hi, tried to jump start my supra earlier and the engine started to turn over but then it made a noise like a fuse blowing. Now I have no power to my car at all, I checked the fuses and they seem to be fine. was wondering if it sounds like the 120a fuse has gone or any other ideas???? Benjy
Ignitor pack won't kill the car

Guest Deano hks
That's what I was thinking Ben. The 120a fuse looks fine but ill test it tomorrow morning when I've got some daylight. Thanks.
Benjy
Pull it out and hold it up to the light. Stupid question but you've checked the battery terminals are actually making contact still, haven't you?
Guest Deano hks
Yeah the battery terminals are fine

Dnk
Isn't the 120 amp fuse bolted into the fuse box so you can't just pull it out ? Should be pretty obvious if its blown as its wasted away on the top so this is where it melts and you can see this as it has a clear top. You didn't get the jump leads on backwards did you as this will blow the 120 amp fuse ? David P
The main fuse is in the bottom of the No. 2 fuse box.
Guest Deano hks
I had a quick look today and tested the fuses in both fuse boxes and they all seem fine. I'm now thinking maybe it has something to do with the immobiliser.........and no I didn't get the jump cables mixed up. I need to have a good look round it when I get a day off. Drew_flux
The 120amp fuse is held in with two 8 mm bolts from the underside. you have to split the fusebox to get it out.
