dandan
Mine opened, ignition on, nothing. No battery to lock her. Had to leave her unlocked on the drive blocked in by another car since Sunday Can't you use the key to lock it manually?
Littler
Buy a trickle charger, best little gizmo ever. This! I have a quick release, plugged in in 2 seconds and done, perfect when there can be longish periods of not driving it Edited January 24, 2013 by Littler (see edit history)
Thorin
Can't you use the key to lock it manually? Or just lock it inside and keep the handle held out when shutting the door.
drift_bear
Good too hear you got into it, take her for a drift/drive in the snow Need to get a new drivers side tyre before I do that, it's got a slow puncture and cause its sat for so long it has a flat spot! How did you eventually get in then mate...was it just frozen locks after all!? I would pull the battery out and fully charge it in the house mate....I do this with my car every winter. Yeah mate, I'm pretty sure that's all it was! I was just stressed last night after finding out that someone tried to break into my house while I was away! Buy a trickle charger, best little gizmo ever. I've got one and its on charge now dude
Tyson
Or just lock it inside and keep the handle held out when shutting the door. Make sure you have the keys with you not left inside the car ... otherwise you spend an hour breaking into your sisters car in the pouring rain to get them back. drift_bear
Car started straight away and left it running for 15mins and then gave a few blips of the throttle, switched it off and left the turbo timer going for another 9 mins. I'm away to try track down a new front tyre and get it fitted then ill take it out for some fun

Havard
Try getting in via the bootlid. If the boot lock is frozen then you couldn't do that. Shame there is no way of opening the boot from inside the car..!!

trebor69
Mine opened, ignition on, nothing. No battery to lock her. Had to leave her unlocked on the drive blocked in by another car since Sunday Going to jump her tomorrow and sit keeping the revs up while the battery recharges, while the ECU is resetting itself. Fun, eh?! Got the battery on my mate's trickle charger at the mo', but it's not recharging from dead. I didn't think it would Many years ago I had a very poor battery on a Z400 and was always having to put it on charge however, one night I put it on charge in a rush and it wasn't until I took it off charge the next morning that I connected the terminals the wrong way round (red to black and black to red) .......luckily it hadn't exploded but HAD reversed the polarity !!!!!! I connected a spotlight to it and left it on to totally drain the charge and then re-connected the correct terminals and re-charged it ..........Never had to charge it ever again .....Worked like a brand new battery after that and always had plenty of power .........I would however NOT recommend anybody try this
