Jata
I'm trying to decide which headlights to get. UKs or facelifts? I love how clean the facelifts look but wonder how quickly they'll discolour like my original J-Specs. The UKs will never discolour because they're glass right? At the moment I'm thinking sod it go for the facelifts. Opinions please!...
Supra Gaz
Facelifts, they take years and years to discolour, just keep them clean and they will be fine
Abz
I swapped my facelifts for some UK Spec's, although I agree that the facelifts do look better I could not be bothered with the cleaning and the clouding. I also think the glass headlights omit the HID light a lot better & crispier on the road.
Rob_Mitchell
Brand new jspecs FTW! they dont dull over night, takes years. I hate facelift headlights.
Littler
Think it depends on the car colour imo, as I've got mint jspecs and a black car and can't help but think facelifts need to be fitted to mine, been yeah they will take years to yellow, even more so if you add a UV coat which is what I did to mine

spikedjack
Nothing more dated than j-specs. Facelifts all day
Havard
Got my facelifts a year ago and they look like new. Nothing makes the car more modern than these.
Tyson
What about UK's with facelift inserts, best of both worlds then.

Nic
Facelift headlights don't discolour like the pre-facelifts do, mine still looked like new after 9 years.

Caesard
UKs for ever. They make the car look crisp, like a 2011 or 12 car
SPG
Really? they remind me of the silver lights on my X-reg Civic. Ain't nothing like the feeling of opening the box to reveal brand new Facelift lights, brings the darker side of the Sup out . All rights reserved in my head
SilverSoop
IMO, I like facelift headlights as they do modernise the Supra. But, if the J-Spec plastic ones are clean and clear like the UK glass headlights are and not yellow then that's fine too
d-_-b
Facelift's - I dont like the reflector 'blob' on the JSpec or UK's But thats "imo" ofc
DodgyRog
UK's with black inners;)
Sheefa
I spent HOURS researching this the other night because I am currently refurbing the plastic on my Facelift lights. Definitely Facelifts for the win. Old J-specs look so dated and I am not keen on the lines with UK glass. Ultimately de-lined Facelifts are the way to go. It would be great on a black car if you could get Glass Facelifts but with the inserts in Chrome. That would however mean splitting new UK Glass ones, spraying the Facelift inserts chrome and then mating them together as they don't fit flushly IIRC from an old thread.
