scott.wild
Hi All, My boot lid hinge decided to snap on me, what is the best way to change it ? My assumption is that the hinge part on the roof is bolted on from inside the car, it does look like it has a small tack weld on there as well Does anyone have any hinges available or know where i can get them from. Thanks

ellis
Thread revival! Mine snapped last night - thanks for that. How big a fix is this? Is it a ball aching job? Will there be much swearing? Will I lose knuckle skin?
safcdixon
The bolts live under the headling at the rear, so once thats out its an easy job imo, only four bolts in total too remove, maybe need some to balance the bootlid whilst you remove and refit your new hinge
