listy Posted January 20, 2013 Share Posted January 20, 2013 (edited) Quick question: would fibre glass work at all? Or would it need to be coated with some form of heat resistant material as well. Fibre glass is the only thing I can think of that is pliable enough for what I have in mind. Is there some kind of heat reflective material that is pliable, that can be bonded to the fibreglass? If I made a fibreglass heat shield, then heat protected it with HR sheeting, then fibreglassed over that so it could be painted, would that still work?
