ellis
If you're going all out, you should buy the Supra model too and swap a 2JZ-GTE, Supra brakes etc into the 2000GT I'd stick the Supra wheels on it too, and then put the BBS wheels on the Supra. You could still build the Supra, just glue the bonnet shut I've got 2 Supra models sat ready to build too and about 4 sets of aftermarket alloys!! 2 sets of the BBS as well! Lbooth
So this is where mine is at, just waiting for a can of paint to finish off the body: Still not sure sure how to post big pics but they hopefully when expanded the quality is still pretty good despite being from my phone. Never knew about the aftermarket wheels, currently browsing for some 1/24 scale BBS LM's!
ellis
Never knew about the aftermarket wheels, currently browsing for some 1/24 scale BBS LM's! Ask and ye shall receive! 20" BBS on ebay
Lbooth
Ask and ye shall receive! 20" BBS on ebay Cheers, 20" are bit big given only have 17" on the actual car! Found these http://www.hlj.com/product/FUJ19272 different brand but lot cheaper than the ebay seller even with shipping from japan
ellis
I've got bits coming from HLJ. Those wheels are on back order though - look for items that are in stock - the other guy on ebay also has some BBS LMs in smaller sizes, check out his shop
Lbooth
Yeh noticed the back order status, will check the shop on ebay out but as I'm not in any rush it'll probably all boil down to price!

Never knew about the aftermarket wheels, currently browsing for some 1/24 scale BBS LM's! Looks good so far The only thing I'd do is smooth the Lines on the roof a little with some fine wet and dry, they're too sharp in the kit IMO. Mike2JZ
It's a shame that model bodykit sets for the Supra are rare as hell. The only one I've been able to find is the vielside kit, but who wants that... Gonna try and give making my own ridox set a go, been a while since I've used modeling putting but up for the challenge. Hopefully should have the results in a few weeks
mike33
I have just ordered my supra model! We could put our photos of our models as a new supra calendar??
Westy
Anyone else want a pair of Recaros!? I'm just going to order a batch as shipping can be split! So far it's just me and Ellis....they will be roughly £14-15 the pair delivered to your door.
Mike2JZ
^Sure, put me down for that

Guigsy
Crappy phone pcs of my dicast collection and others. Muscle shop Pimp Supras Large hemi v8 Drift garage - love the ts drift car. you can change the camber and suspension height and everything. and pretty rare. iv never seen another. I got it from a japanese store in the usa. Other jap cars All these apart from the bottom shelf and a couple on the very top i built from kits. The old skyline at the top has a wierd bozuku paintjob, with carbon decals on the bonnet. i cut the bonnet and put some vents in it and sculpted some flared arches out of modeling clay. The model T ford at the bottom was just a standard kit that i modified into a hotrod. lowered the chassis a bit too much though. it actualy rests on the ground Edited January 16, 2013 by Guigsy (see edit history)

j_jza80
My dad just sent me this he just finished building That looks lovely The only thing that I'd change (and this equally applies to Supra models) would be to dry brush/ sponge some black paint on the outer edges of the transparencies, which gets rid of the white edges you can see on the headlights.
