If the plug and play rx7 injector are used do the still require a resister pack?

Has anyone tested what power levels can be had from those injectors?

Also regarding the oil feed, if a oil cooler was being used can you use an aftermarket sandwhich plate and run the feed from that rather than the other method people seem to use?

As far as I'm aware the RX7 550cc injectors do not require a resistor pack. I'm going for these in my build, just need to find some. There's a few on eBay but only three :( The ones needed have a part number ending in 2020 if I remember correctly.

Yes you can run the oil feed of a sandwich plate. The other method people use it to buy a Lexus union bolt which comes pre-tapped to run your oil feed from.

The Rex 7 jets are from an 89 turbo 2 and not come n packs of two. Be carefully when buying a set as the secondaries for that car were 850 cc but yes they drop in and are high imp so don't need resistors.

Ive ordered the lexus union bolt for the oil feed

Does anyone know what the size of the hole on the union bolt is?

Reason for asking i want to instal a T-piece from the union bolt and run my oil feed and an oil pressure gauge, also i need to know for when i buy the male an-4 adapter to run my oil feed

Cheers

picked up an oil cooler today which has a filter relocation kit with it, anyone else using one of them?

I've used one to make the filter easier to get at and increase the oil capacity by a litre.

There's more info on it in 'my garage', 'Evolution' Album and more in my N/A build thread  somewhere.

if you order from XS uk or us the parts will always come from the same place.

i order from eBay.com all the time. postage is reasonable, and parts get to me in a week typically. regardless of time/size.

A LOT OF UK SELLERS cant even match most US bought items I've had in the past.

You've not made much sense about the comparison between the two photos really, I don't know what you mean :S

If your going NA-t, I would leave components like that for an upgrade. Swapping to a FFIM costs money and it extra work when you have a big job set anyway for a turbo conversion.

I'd say do the FFIM after you have everything running smoothly. Doing too many changes at once on a budget when buying second hand parts can easily result in a problem and not knowing where to look first.

Sorry mate, the 2 different turbo manifold kits they list have an 90 dollar price difference but was wondering if anyone knew the differences between the 2

Each one shows the same photos (the photo showing the bottom side of the manifold) so cant tell them apart

Although i have now noticed one does say 321 stainless in the description the other doesnt so guessing its different material reflecting price
