Guys can someone confirm are the 7mgte injectors im using top or side feed?

Im looking to get a nice looking billet fuel rail for a new ffim but all the ones ive seen are listed for 2jzgte top feed, none of them mention the 2jzge

Sure the ge rail and 7mgte injectors are top feed aswell?

Stock NA fuel rail is top feed and the stock NA injectors are top feed. The 7MGTE 440's are top feed as well.

Stock TT fuel rail is side feed and the stock TT injectors are side feed.

Most after market fuel rails for the 2JZGTE are top feed to allow for a wider range of injectors I imagine, but must be used with aftermarket injectors as the stock TT ones will no longer fit.

I'm not sure however if a after market top feed fuel rail for a 2JZGTE will work on a 2JZGE? I'm sure someone can confirm :)

(That's my understanding of it all anyway :D)

Cheers for the info

My prediction is the rail will probably fit, but the injectors wont fit the rail then

Guess ill stick with stock rail for now and just paint it to look new, new rail can come with new injectors next year :)

Stock rail is good for a fair bit of power anyway

I've got 650's that are a straight fit into the 2JZGE stock rail and only require the fuel rail shimming by a few mm. If you're in the market for some I'll try and find the link.

Yer seems to be good for a fair amount after reading on supraforums

Im going to be fitting a ffim next month so just thought it would look better with a nice annodised billet fuel rail on top

Wont be upgrading injectors till next year i doubt as im happy with the power for now but if you have a link that would be good :)

There you go mate. Service was very good from the above company as well. Only cost around £16 in fees as they put the value of the item down as being quite low.

Has anyone who is running 7mgte 440's had any starting issues?

Iv had mine fitted and set up using 6.8ohm resistors. now it starts and runs but takes a few cranks before it fires?? Surely this isn't normal? Any advise guys??

No problems with mine at all, same injectors and same resistors
