Who has (or is doing) an NA-T on the forum?

Standard cable.

Maybe the contacts are better. Who knows.

Don't forget, some need the software update otherwise it won't work. I tried hunting for a difference cable previously but it was just a software update that was needed.

Stock USB lead works fine.

Ahh ok!

Any idea what the guy in this link is reffering to (or if there is any merit in what he is saying) about the cable?: How to make a Greddy cable

1337 amount of posts. Awesome.

Emanage blue is not usb-usb, I know this for a fact (there are some out there that LOOK like a usb but really aren't). Emanage Ultimate is true usb tho.

Seems that people who dont have the cable but need one revert to making them, seen a few guides along the lines of the one I posted above..

If it Dosnt work I'm happy to get a set of discs from asda and copy my original disc for members that need it as long as they cover the cost of the disc and postage ;)

That's also if the mods are ok with that, I think ill have to ask first as they might see it as trading but I'm not too sure.

:)

b;3587593']I read somewhere that the cable had to be a "specific" Greddy cable? (though looks just like a standard com port (printer -style) cable)

I believe it does for the Blue but not the Ultimate mate. The Ultimate can use a standard usb but the Blue needs the lead supplied by Greddy.

Also the blue needs a laptop with a serial port on it (I don't know about the Ultimate) which are getting harder to find now-a-days but then again I guess the blue is getting out dated now.

This is the lead I got with mine and it connects straight away to the laptop

And this is the 9 pin serial port end of the lead for the laptop connection, the other end (for the emanage) is a standard usb

Couldn't resist at that price! I love a good bargain, I have just bought a patch extension for my ecu for $70 but its missing this bit:

I'm not sure if it will affect the connection but is well worth the gamble at that price!

Good find these are a lot to buy new

Lucky my emu came with one :)
