Big Mark
Can I remove my front bumper without having to get the car up in the air or take the wheels off? I want to finally fit my front lip from the group buy that was months ago but i don't have a trolley jack or axle stands at the moment and don't want to make a start only to find I need to get to the underside etc.
Guigsy
Yeah. It's easy if the bolts are not rusted to buggery I'm sure there is a guide somewhere. I managed it and I'm an idiot.
Big Mark
Great, thanks. If its still not raining by the time I finish my bacon sandwich I'll give it a go.
BK1
Haven't fitted mine yet so I'll be interested to see how you get on :-)
a98pmalcolm
Jacking the front end up will be alot easier. You should have a scissor jack in your boot. its the 2 10mm bolts that will be a little difficult to reach as the wheel is in the way. Or turn your wheels on full lock and then the other way to do the other side... Its doable on the ground just will be a little fiddly
2jz.jjk
Heres a link, dont need to take the headlights off though. Hope it helps. I never used a jacked to get it off, taken it off dozens off time. Just need to get down on the floor. http://www.supraforums.com.au/forum/aesthetics/18217-diy-how-do-i-remove-front-bumper.html
listy
It's easier to get back on with the lights off though As Malcolm says, it's the bolt nearest the arch which is the hardest if you don't lift the car, but just go full lock each way. Also, if you still have the stock arch liners, the front piece needs to come off first to get to the rear bolt.
Dnk
Headlights out is 5 mins work and makes getting at the 2 nuts on the side fixings much easier

Big Mark
I managed to get my bumper off without jacking it up or taking the wheels off. I fitted my new front lip, meshed all 5 openings and then spent a whole day getting it back on. I've still got a couple screws that I will only get back in once the car is up in the air but as will be getting whole front bumper sprayed later in the year it may be coming off again one day.
