What is your job?

Although Supra's are good value to buy, petrol costs can be quite expensive. Not the cheapest car in the world. I often wander what sort of income people here bring in, to run their Supra, so tell us?

Though I appreciate some won't like the question, and you're more than welcome not to answer.

I myself earn 24k, though I am only 21, and this is my first job.

Hi Hucker, salary is sacred, but I can tell you that with HP, petrol, servicing and upkeep, I have to find at least £580 a month to feed my habit (that equates to a mortgage of approx £130 grand), sometimes only to get the nine miles to work and back....some would say total madness....but Supes arnt just a car, they are a way of life

hi Hucker....exactly what my wife says - shes not impressed with me one bit....could be worse, I saw a Saxo on Top Gear (or some other JC prog) a while back and the owner was quite happy to admit spending £40,000 plus on it !?...if you simply look at it as bangs for bucks (and yes Supes are a lot more than that) there is not much on four wheels to touch the little oriental beauties

It's 'wonder' btw (good old uni !!)

Engineering (Aerospace) average pay, had better paying job before being made redundant and as a result zero debt. All paid up!

I'm a vet working mainly with farm animals and generally enjoy my job (although being on call is a real PITA). Unfortunately we don't get paid anything like as much as what everyone thinks. :violin: Feel free to make various "hand up a cows arse" jokes.

And no, I don't use the supe for work!
