Slutters
Hi guys more updates! Got to get a move on to with Dragonball around the corner… Like most the dash had started to peel of and look a bit messy so I decided to paint it. Not to bright just a subtle dark colour. Bit dark I know, using thinners to take of the rubber coating All off.. All the panels stripped Plastic primer on And some colour! 2nd coat lacquer Finished, shows the colour a bit better Metailc grey Will get some pics when there all back in! Also fitted my HKS DLI Also I am not having any gauges, just a 7 inch touch screen! So got my old laptop and removed the screen! I can use the dash that comes with the AEM software
Slutters
Also my new OE radiator arrived! Was going to run alloy rad but read a few different posts about them not being as good as an OE one… Gave the fan a quick clean to And all fitted! As I was going FMIC I had to remove the old PS cooler Making up lower brackets for FMIC, nice when you have a big pile of stainless steel! Getting it level And welded on! Welded to lower front cross-member Bumper test fit Also welded some mounts to the top to make it 100% sturdy Job done
Slutters
Fitted my IAT for the AEM Fitted inlet IC piping I started making a powersteering cooler… But decided it looked shit… So used a oil cooler instead…. Welded some brackets on Painted Hose for PS, high pressure Welded an extension on the aircon pipe holder to move it out of the way of the FMIC pipes Hose covers on to prevent any rubbing Top pipe onto bottle Next up fitted the heater pipes back on Used the NA heater pipe as it sits futher back giving more room for the single turbo Fitted my ECU! Carpet and OEM stereo amp back in Cleaned and installed the pass seat Edited February 15, 2013 by Slutters (see edit history)
Slutters
Fitted my new fuel filter with 6AN line adapter New 3inch stainless exhaust And last but not least cleaning the rear seats….This is what dropping food and having no rear window will do to your seats if left lol Furry! Alas after much disinfectant and elbow grease…. Tune in next time for more interesting updates! Thanks for reading.

d-_-b
Great work so far dude, really great to not only see the car being saved but that you are running this thread whilst you do it : D Is a real good read! Awesome job on recovering the seats from beneath 'the fur'!! Lool. Could look to getting some of that 'leather food' I think its called to get some of the 'goodness' back into the leather? Just an idea, might not need it as looked to have come up very well after your hard work cleaning
Slutters
Hi guys update time! Gets a bit more interesting from now in Quick fab up of things to come… I am using a Holset HX52 Turbo, billet blades, 16CM housing, journal bearing. Making the downpipe, starting at 4inch and reducing to 3 inch, all stainless Flexi at the bottom where it joins the undercar section. Test fitting external wastegate made my screamer pipe I decided to make a turbo stay to hold the weight of the turbo as its damm heavy! Used the stock twins bracket Used the NA heater pipe Just as a warning! Don’t buy the compesit gaskets that are avalible! The port holes are too big! The manifold had some rough casting so I used a die grinder to remove it The turbo also has a devided housing but my manifold is not so I cleaned up the sharp edges
Slutters
Precision External wastegate on! New nuts and fitted! Wrapped and painted Fitted Undercar pipe I made vs the decat one I brought… And fitted, you can just see the screamer screamer pipe routing Gave the cam covers a paint Next up I made a catchtank from stainless! Didn’t like the blingy ones Stainless balls Drain
Slutters
The idea is the hot gases expand in the top section and cool and condenes in the lower And fitted Fitted my new plugs as advised by Ryan G Getting there now! Fitted an NA expansion bottle as its smaller Made up my oil drain, 25MM so no drain issues Cut a flange and used stainless pipe for an oil drain Yes! Fitted my AEM boost solenoid Made a stainless steel heatshield for the brake cylinders/ABS and also to protect the lambda sensor Water pipe aluminium heat shield and lambda sensor heatsheild Next up was plumbing in the fuel, I used Aeroquip push fit
Slutters
Genuine items, no ebay copys Fitting up Aeromotive FPR Installed Brought a whifbitz single turbo pipe………….. It was nowhere near the turbo So I made one, it ended up like this! Also got my Goodridge heat covering on the throttle cables as I don’t want them melting togther on full throttle! And on the oil feed That’s it for now! Tune in next time, thanks for reading.
