During refurb

Took ages to polish the rims, I'm lucky I have all the polishing equipment at work at my disposal :)

 

These are fairly rare blitz 03 3 piece split rims, pretty light wheels

I'm currently machining up some Ali rings that sit between the two rim halfs to widen the wheels so I can run 335 rears :)

Have I missed a post mate? I see your sig says 750whp but don't see anything about mapping or dyno graph?

 

Before we sold up our cnc mills lathes engine and rolling dyna I had my own dynamometer facilities where I "mapped" and setup my engine both out and in my car, I'm planning on using stanton motorsport who aren't too far away from me now for future development and also to give me dyno graphs to show on here

I'm currently running a fully cnc ported head with 1mm oversize valves, and my own custom weld/reground cams

NGK #8 irridiums

Magnecore 10mm leads + coil

Enhanced resolution dizzy pickup

Denso 330 primaries

SARD 2000cc secondaries

Dual fuel rails + fprs

Dual fuel lines

Stock NA block pistons rods

Triple pumps with own cnc hanger

Arp con + head bolts + flywheel bolts

V160 with own custom quickshift

Osgiken triple plate

own Fully cnc ported head

Ferrea oversize valve set

Ferrea bronz valve guides and seals

Double spring and titanium retainers

Own custom weld, re-ground 280 cams

Own custom turbo manifold with HKS wg

Own custom downpipe with flexi and wg plumbed in

Own qs valve with ceramic bearing

Greddy oil cooler and thermostat

Forge 4" intercooler and bov

Own custom 3" inlet piping

Custom modified and ported TT FFIM plenum

Tein coilovers with EDFC

Blitz 03 with custom wider rear barrels 315's

 

All manor of other custom machines n fabricated stuff

 

 

Plans for 2014

Full strip and bare shell respray-white

Fully refurb n shotblast / powdercoat subframes and everything

Big brakes fit

Possibly fit nicer clutch

Drop in my fully built block

Fit my own custom plenum + 4" tb

Battery to boot

Decide on bigger turbo possibly

Get syvecs

Develop own twin turbo and use syvecs to controll valving

 

 

Get lots of shiney dyno sheets to post on here

sounds good, any videos? must be near on 900bhp?

 

Tbh the current stock bottom end and especially NA pistons are holding on for dear life at 750 rwhp

I can only put their existence down to better head flow and breathing allowing for controlled egt and burn temps

I even endoscoped the bores/pistons re entry expecting carnage but all is surprisingly healthy

 

I need to really go to lee or some other decent mapper once I've got syvecs and then I can video rather than map myself

My setup by your standards is outdated and crude, very DIY

 

2014 will be better documented and video'd

And I look forewards to doing some club dyno runs

Haha, was inevitable really, but I have confirmed today that my bottom end has let go!

Number 6 con is bent and the bolts let go

I'd decided to take it off the road for an engine swap anyway but this has just made it a necessity

So ill be putting a built bottom end in that should be far better suited to the Bhp I'd like to run

I'm also considering adding oil squirters but am in decided and will be asking those in the know on here wot their thoughts are

 

 

For the record I can find no evidence of det or overheating pistons , bores also measure up and show no signs of bore wash

 

I will also be going coil on plug and perhaps even syvecs now as my current fuelling was only meant to be an experiment

(Similar to Hypertune but with second rail mounted below top rail at steeper angle)

I think you will need an S8 for 12 injectors?

 

That's one option and by far the easiest , linking two stock ecu's with additional piggy back is quite a complex setup and I think I'd rather just buy off the shelf and plug n play

Also the other advantages of the syvecs system that I plan to take advantage of later in the year

Still impressed it lasted so long considering the fun you've had in her ;)

 

Tbh I mostly drove it at 1.2-1.3 bar which worked out at 600ish

1.8 bar war just brutal and tbh even on dry roads I found it difficult to actually use it

And it destroyed my trd diff, and killed my driveshaft

 

600-650 is a nice figure I think

So although I'm building to be able to run high figure, I'll just run around at 600 for the most part

Custom plenum almost finished, just machining secondary row of injectors to run below the runners

Will be 550cc tops and 1000cc bottom row, using large bore sard rails and each with its own pump regulator and fuel lines

Fully flowed with port matched runners into ported head, 4" tb image.jpg
