Best part is it cost me £30 delivered from a member, It doesn't compare to a whifbitz carbon shroud but its sure dam alot cheaper! Going to be selling my hydro dipped parts to help fund some of it and get the rest of it slowly Anyways pics oh and I really need to bolt down my spark plug cover.. drift_bear
If you want a nice engine bay then i would highly recommend NOT getting a top secret bonnet! I had one for a little while and it left the engine looking horrible and water marked. The genuine ones came with rain guards i think, but not 100% sure! I looked into making some but just gave up tbh lol
j_jza80
I don't normally like those carbon fan shrouds, but that looks great. Really fits in with the colour scheme

I looked into making some but just gave up tbh lol My car is garaged most nights so wont be seeing many down pours over night, I was considering the rain guards but ill have to find someone who can make them. I don't normally like those carbon fan shrouds, but that looks great. Really fits in with the colour scheme Thanks J I wasn't keen on them either but for the money I thought I would give it a go and it does suit my black themed engine bay. I've received the parcel you sent, thanks again mate. I owe you

supra_ufo
Stunning picture! Car looks great mate! cheers Well done on getting so many shots in the calendar dude, well deserved! I made the effort this year and I think the wheels completes the car hence more votes... I still didn't put a photo in for all the categories, missed out landscape, action and "portrait" which came out of no where Next year I should hopefully have some more photos. supra_ufo
I dismantled the throttle body side of the car with the intention to get it all sent for Rob to paint. I did not manage to take it all off before I went away to Canada a few weeks ago. Whilst in Canada I spent a shit load and I did not have the money to send those parts to Rob So I decided to paint them myself, now I have managed to paint the cam covers but the TB side scares the shit out of me as ive heard stories. Anyway, took my time, took ages to mask stuff! and here are the results Cleaning the engine bay MORE TO ADD.... supra_ufo
Bought a 3" intercooler pipe from Lee P a while ago with a HKS SSQ welded in, I sent this off to be painted gloss black, I then decided to wrinkle paint the SSQ so it wouldn't stick out like a sore thumb. Jobs left to do are to pipe in the power steering hoses, I am waiting for a O ring as it leaks slightly on the pipe that goes into the block. I ordered a 3" 180 degree IC pipe from ASH and they sent me the wrong part so I am going to drive over there this morning to sort that out (only 3 miles away). Put all the interior parts back in, and add all the carbon bits. The fuse box in the picture is a hydro dipped one, thanks to Al Massey for given me this, my carbon cover goes on top of this.
