Westy
I bought my car after seeing a couple of pics....risky I know, but that's why I went through Jurgen mate...he had a contact in Japan go and inspect the car before placing the deposit. Mind that those price do not include - shipping, import tax, registration/VOSA fees or the importers commission. It all adds up. I found my car myself on : http://www.carsensor.net/usedcar/search.php?KW=Supra&AL=1&SORT=
welshbuddy
yeh ya looking 3k ish for the box and other parts, then labour.
Shane
Do some searches on here mate as there is a wealth of information that will help you with your quest to find the motor that suits you. Also, try and get a drive in an auto before you go down the 'I only like manual' route. You will find the auto supra is great and even the hardest anti auto people normally concede that the autobox used on the Supras is pretty unique and a joy to drive. Good luck with your search and there are some really nice cars for sale out there at the moment.
listy
About £2.5k for the box. Add props, clutch etc plus labour, around £4-5k depending on how much you can do yourself. The autos are very goo though in the opinion of most. The red one is the nicest out of those two. The white one seems to have a couple of bits of bodywork that don't quite fit right. Plus, it has a top secret sticker on the bonnet, yet not much, if any top secret parts (maybe the skirts and spats and wing, but that's it), so the top secret name will pull buyers in if they haven't got a clue. Speak to Jurgen at JM Imports. Trader on here, and always seems to sort out any problems that the car has before it is collected, and even after in some cases. Graham1984
This is who I would use like suggested before http://jm-imports.co.uk/ Jurgen is a trader on here and very well respected, rightfully so too as I have seen countless/ fantastic cars sourced through him. Westy
1st box in black bold numbers...eg the red one I picked out is 155.0 which is 1,550,000 yen = £11,323 roughly excluding the above mentioned import expenses.

st3ven1
How many miles has the red one got on it. Looks lovely...!! Might want to have a second look! It's been sitting for a long time outside by the looks of it. Its been given a quick spruce up before taking the pictures. Have a look at the body panel between the rear lights when the boot is open: thick with dust. The engine bay has also just received the full "wet look" treatment which hasn't even dried yet. I would guess that the engine bay probably resembled one with twice the mileage before it was cleaned. Don't get me wrong it could still be a good buy, but would need thoroughly checked out before buying.
Samurai 20V
Both those cars from the tradecar links are from a shop called King Buyer.. I heard some iffy comments about them from some ppl. I would say Jurgen and the Japan auction combo is the safe bet.
Jurgen-Jm-Imports
i heard from good sources trade car view is a scam. for example the seller is 100% kingbuyer, yet on tradecarview its seller is j.carex.co.ltd. basically trade car view ask you to send deposit to seller in Japan (which dont exist) you then complain about it and tradecarview say contract is bewteen you and j.carex. they then strike them off their gold supply chain. we can buy direct from king buyer and have in past but cars need to be checked out. but if you want to buy direct then we suggest avoid tradecarview and j.carex and go to king buyer. - - - Updated - - - infact lol direct from their site.. http://www.tradecarview.com/help/buyer/legitimacy/cases/ say you found a lovely supra but seller in japan is king buyer not j.carex and see what they say lol.
