Dnk
You should get it much cheaper than that £4600 under half i'd have thought Who was that with ? Do a search as its been done to death on here but try LWIB for starters and CCI
SupraStar 3000
Thats seems like an awful lot to pay for a 26yr old. Have you tried our Club insurance company Sky. Just remember to quote this club and you are a member!
Gaz6002
You are willing to pay £4,600 per year to INSURE a Supra? You can buy a tidy TT for that! Are you mental? I had a Supra at 23 and was paying half that. You're being bent over.

listy
Comparison sites are evil mate. Don't forget, every policy taken out through a comparison site has to pay a premium to the site itself, so will always cost more than if you rang a company direct. I'm 25, been driving 4 years, with 3 years NBC, and pay a grand on a TT with Sky, all mods declared, like for like replacement parts, breakdown cover yada yada yada Edited December 21, 2012 by listy (see edit history)

dan294
33, £555 a year with all BPU mods and bodykit tc declared. 13+ years NCB. That's with HIC, using it as my main car on a 5000 miles a year policy.
stevie_b
Good god man, get some more quotes. Try some brokers too (Adrian Flux, Sky, A-Plan), don't rely on the comparison websites. In my experience, the comparison sites are best when you're Mr Average, 2.4 kids, driving a 1.6 Ford Focus LX for 10,000 miles a year. Japlover
I'm 33, driving since I was 18, have about 9 or 10 years NCB and pay just over £650 fully comp for the manual v8 Aerotop. £4500..... they're screwing you up the wrong un, dry!!! Tom
wow, I was paying £1100 at 21 on a jspec tt6 7 years ago, would currently be under £500, you'd be mad to pay that amount, even half that
Twisted
23 driving 3 years, 2 years no claims and a declared crash. Paying £1400 for Jspec TT. So as everyone said, they are trying to pull your pants down
