Celica Gt-4

I had an ST205, easy enough to get to 300bhp, with decat/downpipe, exhaust, induction and boost to 1.2 bar. Make sure your fuelling is spot on coz pistons can be a bit on the weak side.

I blew my piston ringlands at 1.2bar.

Also make sure you buy one that has had the suspension sorted at about 60k miles coz the lower arms and figure of 8 joints are a weak point.

Apart from that, there a fantastic car and canny quick with bpu mods, mine felt quiker than my sup before i went BPU.

I've currently got a ST185 and it is a good car. Toyota build quality and reliability with a strong engine. I've tweaked mine upto 220bhp area with a simple relief valve and de-cat. Good thing with these older ST185's is that you don't need a CAT in place for an MOT.

With camber adjusted at the front to give more -ve, the handling is transformed into a really direct and eaily 'chuckable' car.

Mine is currently for sale funnily enough..... asking price is only £2800, as I'm looking to buy a ST205 to go stage rallying in!

I know someone on heres got 1???

What are these like??? might have to down grade to release some funds for a while. Are they simular to get to BPU and what sort of stats are we talking about?

I have a silver Celica GT-4 ST205 which i think you may have seen on Sunday night. Was you parked down Oxford Street in the Millfield\New England area of Peterborough. I popped to the KFC however you had gone by my return.

If you fancy a blast in the GT-Four, give us a shout. I have no idea what BHP i have however its a good bit more than stock. I have a K&N Panel, Decat, Blitz Nur Spec R, GReddy Boost Controller and a few other enhancements in Water Injection, HKS BOV, Uprated wastegate actuator. I currently run approx 16 - 17psi.

IMO they are great cars and very handy in the corners and in the wet. Mine is a daily driver and does me well.

Regards

Chris
