Jamesc183
Hi guys, Just wondering how much it cost people all together to get the clutch changed on there N/A's? (part & labour) My clutch has litterally killed itself last night lol thanks in advance JC
scott87
The oem clutch is quite pricey, toyota quoted something silly, Im planning to buy an organic clutch (£170) then i've been quoted between £100 and £150 in labour to have the work done. Being near christmas an all i cant really afford to go with a mega carbon clutch. Ill see if i can find the link. But for reference Toyota wanted nearly 400quid for the oem one!! I can't find the link online now, ill have a good look and see if i can find it. Im sure another member will be along with a suggestion too though! scott87
that thread is a year old bud..... Wrong thread, someone is selling one for the w58 at the moment, used the search function but didnt check the date
Stratty
Don't go for a competition stage 4 clutch on an NA. They are terrible to get off the line and have a tendency to go thru bearings quite quickly. I replaced mine twice. Will never have another. scott87
Ah well in that case i will stop searching for the thread then.... A direct swap for an organic one i was told would be best for a stock n/a.
Justin Bieber
if you pm Lee P on here he might have a RPS organic clutch that came from my car that he could sell you, would be no good if you go NA-TT though
Stevo
Go for one of the uprated NA clutches from Chris Wilson - that's my choice when mine goes.

scott87
Very expensive if on a budget though..
Justin Bieber
parts for these cars aint cheap unfortunately the OP's best bet is a second hand stock clutch for price, like i said Lee might still have the RPS one i had that was an organic plate, otherwise its going to be expensive. Justin Bieber
oh yeah i'd forgotten they did one! I only know of one member who has used one (RobD) so it might be worth asking him how it felt compared to stock

Justin Bieber
just been looking at those exedy clutches on ebay, the 2jz-ge one is pushing £300, the others are for the mk3 by the looks of it
scott87
Ah i hadn't noticed that! I'm assuming the mk3 non turbo clutches arent compatible.
Stevo
I'd still drop Chris Wilson an email (not PM) if I were you - he may have a used one kicking about for a lower price!
