Callaway Motorsport
Hi guys, Having trouble finding good tyres, but in the sizes for the rear. I prefer not to go the semi route, but it seems i might have to. Tyres i have my eyes on : Kumho V70a Falken azenis Continental sport 3 (they dont have my rear size!!) Dunlops Semis not sure what model name but michael lavery has them. I would prefer a good sticky assymetrical tyre. But the problem is They mostly stop at 285 in 18" and only have 305 and 315 in 19 inch. Please post your suggestions/ experiences please. Oh, and no i am not on a budget or looking for crap chinese sate non grip radials lol.
JamieP
Don't go with the kumhos, they are rubbish, can't beat R888's IMO, can't wait to get a set on mine come the spring.

Callaway Motorsport
What were the r888 like in wet/ damp jamie?
Paul Whiffin
We have huge experience from our Time Attack days with the R888 and they are pretty dam good. I run a 295 on the back of my Supra and have full grip in 3rd gear with 1200+bhp. These will give you a huge increase in traction over normal road tyres. Forget it jn the wet though, you can't put your foot down no matter what tyres you have. Semi slicks only have problems with standing water, the rest of the time they are ok to use in the wet. Jamesy
Only thing i ever got traction with my old supra was 295/18 R888's
Callaway Motorsport
Ok, thanks paul. I understand that in the wet nothing will really hold it, But for the size I need r888 sound good.
