tengu
Hi all, I want to get some 17 inch mags for my supra, the ones i really want are out of my reach now but i have my eye on this ones: I think they are pretty cool and good value for money, also more affordable rims are preferred as this will be a drift car: I will like to hear what do u think and if anybody has them please put some pics up, and/or if someone has free time and skills can photoshop them on a black supra Cheers, thanks
ripped_fear
Too busy/old school and euro for me. Would work on a golf or similar. All IMO of course, if you like them go for them!
abtin90
I agree with ripped fear I don't think they'd go well on a supra. also would 18's not look better if you were to go for them? Or do they not come in 18's?
Abz
Too busy/old school and euro for me. Would work on a golf or similar. All IMO of course, if you like them go for them! Looks very VDub like to me, would look good on Euro boxes but not on a curvy Supra.
Swampy442
BBS copies, I think they look quite good, need to be bigger than 17" and quite wide for me personally. Being Dare's not sure how good quality the finsh will be.
Westy
As above really. Doubt you will get them in the necessary widths.
Dnk
I think they look fine but their very cheap, a quality 17" tyre will cost more than the wheel ! I personally prefer a more simplistic wheel, most 5 spokes work well on the supra and are much easier to keep clean. They list 17 x 8.5 and 17 x 10 but no mention of the offsets, they also list 18 x 8 and 18 x 9.5 Edited December 9, 2012 by Dnk (see edit history)
tengu
They made by the same factory who makes rota so quality will be pretty ok, i dont want to go 18,s as they will make the car look too tall for me and also tires are cheaper on 17's. The have 17x10j and 15 offset for the rear and 17x8.5j and 20 offset for the front. I will see if i go for them then i will upload pics I had rotas gtr and ultralites and uras wheels on all my other cars, i think i just want something different
mattdavies
I thought about these wheels, were gonna go 18 front and 17 rear
a98pmalcolm
Only work on VW's now I feel TBH Skylines and Supra its about big spoke and not many of them.. 18"- 19" 5 - 6 spoke rims FTW
buster
looks like a lot of fiddly bits to try and clean 5 spokes are good
tengu
I am gonna try them and let's see how they look like he he if not happy will swap them for something else. Everybody has 5 spoke rotas and etc they are called euro but loads of guys in japan, australia, states use simmilar look rims on jap cars ...
