I'm gonna express my interest (I'd love to do this!) but it's very much dependant on work. I won't have a definitive answer as to availability until nearer the time. Fingers crossed though! JamieP Posted January 28, 2013 Share Posted January 28, 2013 (edited) Numbers will be much bigger with a new thread i suspect, we always have 60-70 cars competing i think, i doubt i will get more that 30 gtr's sign up, need 90 cars at £80 to make this work, spectator numbers can bring the car numbers down though, 100 spectators means we only need 70 cars to compete. No clubs can do events like this anymore without inviting other clubs it seems, MLR 30-130 is a joint GTROC meet an all now, 30 GTR's going to that. Branners Posted February 14, 2013 Share Posted February 14, 2013 Chris, even at £80 per person we need to hit at least 70 competitors to come close to breaking even. We cannot even get to 70 competitors at Suprapod which is £60 per competitor so I think we are taking a big risk with club funds when we got to 10 competitors above and maybe the same on gtr.co.uk. If Javelin had shifted on the price we may have considered it, but that appeared to be no go. It could be we invade a Shakespear Raceway RWYB instead.
