ellis
Visceral was the word I used when I BPUd my old UK spec. The change, for me, was marked and the kick with the 2nd turbo made me grin like a dog with 2 c0cks. Even with just decatting the first part on my JSpec, the change is noticeable and I'm grinning again. The increase in noise is also grinworthy! You should see gains up to about 380-390 horses (allegedly)
safcdixon
Throttle response improvement is my main gain from bpu in my experiance, the instant kick in the arse from kickdown is very good, the difference is hard to explain tbh Do it and find out, it isnt alot of money for bpu, i think i bpu'd my tt for around £350-

Parry_10
For the cost its the best upgrade you could do. I drove a porche 911 turbo at the weekend and my old bpu supra was quicker that pushed out 427fwhp and 430ftlbs at srr though.

Marcus GTE
I had a quick fly by as a passanger in Tonytt's BPU few months ago. 2nd gear, foot down and just said to him afterwards "ok, mine doesnt do that!" Was so impressed im planning on BPU in the summer. Pins you to the seat.
