supra steveo
Well guys as some of you know I am back, I've just been to pick my car up and after 3 and bit months away I was very shocked to hear a very bad noise coming from the engine , it skretched at me but I eventually started it up it ran rough for a few minutes and after that it sounded ok the breaks are going to need a bit of a clean to but I've not got a clue what that sound was on first start up now to get the engine ripped out and replace it with a TT

pedrosixfour
Noise on start-up might've been the auxillary belt getting a stiff pulley moving again. Remove the belt and check all pulleys are spinning freely (those that should).

Dim Sum
It shouldn't matter if you are going to replace the engine anyway
