Just had an oil change last week and have driven down to cornwall, was on my way back and the following happend.?

I ended up sitting in traffic for near on 3 hours today and noticed after about 2 and a half hours that When I set off after a long stop that smoke would come out of the exhaust...

This progessively got worse and worse so I pulled over as I was not getting anywhere and smoke was comming out on idle, Not much but it smelt so Im pretty sure I was burning oil...

I waited an hour for the traffic to clear and set of again.. When not moving car would smoke and onuder way everything seemed fine..?

Ive had the single kit on the car for 3+ months now and its all been running well.. So I want to get this resolved ASAP.

Could it be NOTHING ?

Stem Seals

Turbo Seals? do these still count if you have gone single?

I also checked coolant and there is not signe of oil in it.. ?

Im going to attempt to drive back to london as she seems fine on the move.. May be the hours sitting around just got things a little hot?

All sorted...

I am happy to say after draining a litre of oil from my car it is now fine...

I just had a full service and the oil was seriously overfilled!

It was the first time the car had become HOT after the service and these were the effects..

I was pretty sure it was not seals as you see that sort of thing happen gradually not just in the space of a day
