Guest JDDave
I have a Red Supra 3.0 turbo manual G reg. Its a non runner no tax or mot. It was given to my son who had plans to "do it up" That is never going to happen so I would like to sell it to someone who would be interested. We would hate to see it scrapped as it was a amily friends who died suddenley. So is there any intrest in this model and is it realistic to hope someone might take it on, although I realise it would be ideal as a doner car. I will provide more details if anyones interested. Thanks for reading Dave.

Guigsy
Mk3s can look badass. My dad had one which towed our caravan
Dnk
Its more than likely to be a mk3 but you could have a G reg plate on a mkiv

j_jza80
Just be careful about how much you're wanting for the car. The gearbox is worth over £1k alone if it's in good order, a fact that people may want to hide Welcome by the way
Guigsy
And depending what box it is . We don't realy know what engine is in it yet. Could be one of about 4 I think? There was the rare 2ltr tt. The 3ltr na. 2.5 ltr turbo and the 1jz 2.5 tt.

Guest JDDave
Thanks all. The engine is a 7M-GTE. Car was registered 05 03 1990. My son says the engine has been rebuilt but the starter motor is siezed up. Apart from some bodywork repair where it was damaged lifting it off a truck into our garden! the only other problem is the offside track rod is damaged . The interior is not too good, the seats are torn. We will have a proper look and I will post some pics tomorrow, Thanks again.
Guest JDDave
Pics taken today. Might help you guys decide which model/engine it is It would be great to get it up and running again but my son neither has the money or the enthusiasum, Thanks again. j_jza80
Such a shame about the bodywork The interior is the highest spec I've ever seen on a UK mk3. To be brutally honest it's just not going to be worth putting the money into doing it up, but the running gear will net you £1500 I reckon. tooquicktostop
Too banged up for me I am afraid, would be a money pit to restore, as mentioned will break for more

Nic
You might have more luck posting on the MKIII Supra website here http://www.mkiiisupra.net/bbs/forum.php

They always seem to go for at least £800 on eBay. They're in great demand with kit car builders too now.
