_Shane_
Guys would you think it is necessary to remove the radiator from the Supra when fitting a set of cams and cam pulleys ?
Gaz6002
Is this yet another thread relating to the trader who has your car?
hackin_n_bashin
Only IF they're changing the crank pulley. But as you don't mention it, I'd say no.
ripped_fear
No I wouldn't, although if they felt its necessary to do so for the extra room, then it is only a case of two bolts, undo the hose and slide out. 15 mins max!
_Shane_
ya that was exactly what i was thinking. So i would be right in saying that taking 1 hour to refit the radiator is nonsense
ripped_fear
Yess definitely unless its some cheap after market thing. I removed the air ducting removed my old one, fitted a new one and all other bits back in about 15mins, howeve when i tried to fit an after market thing it took ages and in the end I sent it back. Think you either need to try sort this situation mate, and get them to stop work. Or bite the bullet and just accept they are going to charge you loads. Josh
Even I managed it in less than an hour
_Shane_
I did this last year before the car went single, i remove stock rad and fan shroud after disconnecting hoses and draining the stock rad. I then fitted the fan shroud to the new rad, dropped it back into place, connected up hoses and filled rad. All done in about 35-40 mins and this included me wondering around the place looking for tools lol
