Clausz
Hi all I'm looking for changing my stock inlet manifold with a aftermarket one. The hypertune and Virtual Works are too expensive for me, and I'm therefore after much cheaper one. I been searching quite a lot, and I ended up on ebay, where I found these two types: JUN style: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/250756739385 Greddy style: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/150915963339 Are they any good with a aftermarket/Q45 throttle body? Does any of you guys experience in keeping the stock cruise pilot with another throttle body? Best Regards Claus
Jellybean
I suggest you save for a hypertune and Virtual Works or at least buy a used hypertune,Virtual Works, GReddy, JUN You pay for what you get, they cut cornors manufacturing the ebay items hence the price. If money is tight get a used item or stick with stock untill you can afford one
Swampy442
What sort of power are you running? You might not need one anyway, that would save you some cash and hassle

Lee P
http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?276401-SRD-chrome-plenum I use the greddy style manifold, takes a bit of modification to get it right though. I do a full package with everything needed, comes in around £1250 and includes SRD Plenum Q45 tb TPS adapter Intercooler pipe kit Longer throttle cable Battery relocation kit Washer bottle
_Shane_
same intake as mine http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?280079-Who-on-here-has-a-KU-engineer-intake-manifold
Clausz
Jellybean: I still think that 2K is a lot for a intake manifold. I know it's very good quality and it's well performing. This year I will be going for around 700bhp. Shane: Have you sorted that out yet? I would like to see one fitted on.

If you check out build threads on here, you either do it right first time using quality parts or you end up wasting money buying inadequate parts with fitment/reliabilty issues. You Pay for what you get Why not just leave the stock intake in place and upgrade later, it sounds like you dont have the budget for an intake at this time or maybe try and source a 2nd hand reputable branded intake

Clausz
Jellybean: I would also like something, that looks better than the stock. Also an argument for changing. Mitchell: I will ask him :-) thanks.

Clausz
I ended up buying the JUN plenum pudsey had for sale. Looks great and comes with Q45 throttle body. Almost plug and play. Anyone there has experience in keeping the cruise control when installing a Q45 throttle body?
