Whifbitz 3" Exhaust Fitting Help

Hi guys, I am just having my Whifbitz 3" single box exhaust fitted to my JSPEC Supra TT and we have ran in to a couple of issues. :(

1) The exhaust is catching on the prop shaft loop / cross member as show in the below picture. Anyone else had this issue? I could just remove the cross member but I like the fact it provides some safety if my prop shaft comes loose. Is it common to remove this when fitting a 3" exhaust?

2) It seems the hanger/fitting on the backbox isn't in the right place, if we force it on to the rubbers, the rubbers twist and the exhaust is pushed tight up against the top of the bumper which will eventually melt/warp my bumper with use. Images below,

Possibly I may have been sent a system that could of been incorrectly labelled and could be for another car or its may just be a one off fault in manufacturing as I know the Whifbitz parts are is usually pretty spot on, so not entirely sure why its not fitting.

I don't think the garage is fitting it wrong either as the chap is a competent race engineer, so a simple exhaust wouldn't cause him any issues.

If anyone can post up pictures of the hanger/bracket that comes off the backbox so I can check it against mine to make sure I have the correct system for the car and I can also ensure its been fitted correctly.

Cheers

I have been given this exhaust to fit. The rear hanger bracket on the back box doesn't seem to bear any resemblance to what one might assume would be required to take the stock rubber "O" rings. Angle, shape, height, all seem wrong. If you force the "O" rings onto the exhaust hanger the tail pipe is hard against the back bumper, and the tail pipe is well offset to the side of the cut out in the back bumper. If anyone has a similar system could they examine the rear hanger bracketry on the back box and see if it's the same as this, and if so how the hell it's supposed to work please? :) I am sure I've fitted one of these things before, and would definitely remember if I had had a similar issue.

I have the same exhaust and it fit perfectly in place. My only issue was the tail pipe sitting about 5 degrees of centre from the cut away in the bumper. I had no issue like your having. The hanger which the rubber sits on was a little out of place but nothing like those pics.
