Boge
If I was to only do a single decat (meaning one cat left in) which one should be removed for least effect on loudness but best on response? Or is this a stupid question and either will give the same response? Also if double decating a tt vvti is a restrictor ring needed? Cheers
hackin_n_bashin
If I was to only do one, it would be the first one, hardest to get to though. I believe it's the most restrictive, but will allow an easier time of it if you want to put the second one on on the future ( you will!) And yes, if your double decatting you wil need a restrictor ring on a vvti too.

Boge
If I only remove the first cat am I right in thinking no rr is needed? Also could I up the boost to 1bar without installing FCD or boost cut controller?
mattdavies
With only one cat you would not need a RR. You would need a FCD or Boost cut controller @ 1bar as this is when fuel cut occurs
